What we collect
- Account details (name, email, phone) when you sign up or check out.
- Shipping addresses you give us.
- Order and payment metadata from Paystack. We never see or store your card details.
- Your email address and where you signed up from, if you join our mailing list. We keep it until you unsubscribe — every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, or email privacy@thedigitplus.comand we'll remove you.
- Anonymous usage analytics via Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics (which is cookieless). See cookies for the specifics.
We don't log your IP address or browser fingerprint in our own database, and your basket stays in your browser rather than on our servers.
Who else handles your data
Running a shop means using other companies. These are all of them, and what each one actually receives:
- Supabase — stores the database and runs sign-in. Holds your account, addresses and order history.
- Vercel — hosts the site, so it processes every request you make to it.
- Paystack — takes the payment. Receives your name, email and the amount; your card details go to them directly and never through us.
- Resend — sends our email. Receives your email address and the contents of the message, such as an order confirmation.
- Google Analytics — receives anonymous usage data about pages viewed. Not your name, email or order contents.
- Couriers — receive the delivery address and phone number for the parcel they are carrying, and nothing else.
Emails we send
Order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates, and licence keys for digital products — these come with the purchase and aren't optional. If you start a checkout and don't finish it, we may send you one reminder; completing the order or simply ignoring the email stops them. Marketing email only goes to people who joined the mailing list.
What we never do
- Sell your data to anyone.
- Share it with anyone beyond the companies listed above.
- Use analytics to identify you personally.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@thedigitplus.com— there is no self-service button for this yet, so we handle each request by hand and will complete it within 30 days. Deleting your account doesn't remove records we're required to keep for tax and accounting.
